Woke to stabbing left temple pain ,last about an hour /went away after i took motrin . recent mri an ct scan( jan 22) show normal brain/arthritis in neck . no aneurysm or tumour , no vessel /artery issues . could this be a stroke/new formed aneurysm?

My sense is that you experienced an episode of neuralgia involving a superficial nerve & not an intracranial issue. I agree that it was not a serious event although somewhat painful and alarming for you.
