A member asked:

Is it safe to surf with contacts in? i cant see far without them but ive heard they can trap salt water/ bacteria under the lense. just wondering if there was better option to use while in the ocean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The "risk" for wearing contacts while body surfing is the potential loss of the contacts...if you are able to see shapes without the contacts in place, it would be a better practice....change your contacts and cleanse them after surfing if it is uncomfortable with reduced vision to surf without them.
