If the discharge persists you should see a GYn for you might have an infection. If it stops then it was probably inter=menstrual bleeding

Occasionally, two follicles (eggs) can mature and ovulate simultaneously, with the consequent rapid drop in estrogen just prior to ovulation accentuated accordingly, allowing for more visible bleeding from breakdown of the uterine lining, at the time of ovulation, about "2 weeks prior" to the expected next menstrual event.
