Is it possible to get pregnant during other times of the cycle?

Yes: The most likely time to get pregnant is mid-cycle when ovulation usually occurs. It is possible to get pregnant at any point during the menstrual cycle, however, as occasionally ovulation may occur earlier or later in the cycle than expected. This change in ovulation can be due to factors such as stress, hormone changes, weight loss or gain, breastfeeding, etc.

No: The only way a woman can get pregnant is if an egg, released only during ovulation is impregnated or penetrated by a male's sperm during intercourse. The female body actually has a very short interval in which pregnancy can occur, which is the time around ovulation in mid-cycle.
