A member asked:

I had an emg done and had increased insertional activity in both of my arms, and in both of my legs. can this be a normal finding?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If this is a reliable observation, by an experienced operator, this would be unusual and not a normal result. Yet, if this is the sole outlier finding, it is nonspecific and must be correlated with your clinical symptoms, which you do not mention. Contact your doctors and discuss test results and the next steps, as they know you best.
