Needs Attention: Any change in symptoms from your usual state of health should cause at least some concern. Lightheadedness can be caused by a lot of common, unworrisome things. However, it could be due to low blood counts, an issue with your lungs, or even an issue with the rhythm or how effective your heart is beating. I'd say better to be safe. Your doctor should be able to figure this one out quickly.

Needs evaluation.: These symptoms merit an evaluation: check blood pressure, sitting and standing, ekg, during symptoms; check blood sugar; check heart rhythm with holter monitor. Need to see your doctor for a careful history and physical exam, and blood tests.

Orthostatic BP drop: You are on losartin for bp? With these symptoms i'd be concerned about orthostatic hypotension. Have your primary care provider check your heart rate and BP in the upright and reclining position to see if there is a significant change when you stand up. That should get you started at least.
