I had unprotected sex on the 6th of feb, by the 8th or 9th i had slight bleeding like spotting like for 2 to 5 days then it stopped. i took 2 hpt and both came negative however i've been experiencing cramps, breast tenders and fatigue. am i pregnant?

You forgot to give us date of last period, if your period is always regular and the timing of those 2 pregnancy tests. You probably concern if the bleeding was due to implantation. Implantation bleeding does not persist that long. I do not think you are pregnant.

Conception occurs within day or so of the sex. It takes about 3 weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG for a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully.
