A breast fed infant can poop every feed or once a week. If it is soft it is not constipation. Let the kid establish its own pattern without intervention. If this leads to worrisome symptoms have the doc look. Many infants use their fussing muscles to assist pooping. It can look strange but as they gain muscle mass with age this fades.
