Few things to consider, for nonoccupational post-exposure prophylaxis (nPEP), nPEP, with antiretroviral therapy (ART), should be administered as soon as possible and within 72 hours, to reduce the risk of HIV transmission. You are at high risk for HIV based on your history and suspicion, you can start PEP x 28 days & can discontinue if the HIV test returns negative of your sexual partner.
