Is it worth taking pep if i had a brief penetration with another unknown male. condom slipped off. i can't ask for hiv status because i don't know him. i asked but he said he's negative and recently tested although he didn't show me any results?

People rarely lie about their HIV status when asked directly, so it is very unlikely your partner is infected and probably PEP isn't necessary. However, PEP decisions are best made by providers who understand local epidemiology of HIV. Perhaps a public health, STD, or HIV expert would have different advice. Good luck.
