When in the cold for 10 mins my ears will start to ache and sometimes cause headaches it's very annoying what could it be caused by?

The nerves in the ears are relatively open to cold temperatures and ear pain is not unusual on exposure to cold. Cold temperatures can also result in considerable sinus pressure causing headache as well as ear pain.
