A member asked:

Can a throid nodule cause head aches, ears blocked and throat sore ... at different times. it is not a cold!

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Hi. Thyroid nodules can be over-active (over produce thyroid hormone) or not and benign or malignant. Most symptoms are due to thyroid function, not mass effect. Whatever doctor is evaluating your thyroid nodule would have checked your thyroid function. So without you stating, we must assume you're not hyperthyroid. In no case would I expect your symptoms to be due to anything to do with thyroid.
