Can lymph nodes stay permently enlarged after having lyphoma? i had lyphoma around 3 years ago and my lymph nodes are swollen and they have never changed and i have no symtoms of lymphoma. there also movable and around pea sized?

You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!

Unless you only had a partial remission, I would have expected enlarged lymph nodes from lymphoma to melt away. You may have chronic palpable pea sized non malignant lymph nodes. Your oncologist can evaluate and better advise you.

Ive had a swollen lymph node behind my ear (thumb sized) for about 10 years. At least since I can remember. But I just read today that lumps could be a sign of lymphoma? Now Im worried. It hasnt changed in size or grown if that helps?
