Someone in my apartment complex smokes weed, the smell reaches our apartment & i am 34 weeks pregnant. i'm really worried if secondhand smoking might affect my unborn baby?

According to the CDC website there is some evidence that secondhand marijuana smoke might affect an unborn baby (nervous system issues: attention/focus issues) but that likely be if you were directly exposed to the smoke, not just smelling the odor. It might be worth asking the neighbor respectfully to consider smoking elsewhere (but may not work!) for your unborn baby’s sake

If possible install air filters, maintain a clean home and if the neighbor doesn’t quit, please consider moving. It is best that the baby not be exposed to smoke. Discuss the newborn exam and screening for drugs at the time of delivery, and try not to worry.

Unfortunately it has been revealed that exposure to marijuana in childhood and adolescence can lead to significantly reduced cognitive abilities and emotional problems
