Is it necessary to take vitamins if you have hiv, and does taking drugs cause drug resistance?

Vitamins are no more necessary in people with HIV than anyone else. Supplemental vitamins are a bit controversial, but the truth is that they rarely are needed in people with reasonably normal, balanced diets. The only thing likely to cause HIV drug resistance is failure to take your current drugs on schedule.
