Such symptoms suggest a bladder or prostate problem, not urethritis. This problem has nothing to do with how your underwear is laundered. See a doctor. Good luck.

For chem. urethritis to occur the detergent has to enter in side the urethra. It would cause reaction of the scrotal skin and not pain. Drink some extra water and see your MD and get urine examined
