Rinse your wound and keep it covered with a bandaid or dressing until healed when you use your hands during the day. Watch closely until healed, as superficial infections are always possible, specifically on exposed wounds.

No. What you described will not have harmful effect. For constipation - You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods.
