There are many antihistamines. Go to drugs.com and read about all you want to try. Best to not take for long time. Beware of drowsiness.

Non-sedating antihistamines (like loratadine) are generally safe to use for long-term. Some studies suggest that dementia may be linked to long-term use of sedating antihistamines, and liver injury is considered to be a very rare effect. Most side effects are short-lived and disappear after stopping the antihistamine.
