TKR is total knee replacement and quadriceps sparing surgery is also a technique used for TKR. Both partial knee replacement & TKR can be done with Mako robotic surgical technique. As I answered in the previous question, the key for an optimal outcome is to find a well trained and experienced orthopedist. In general at your age, TKR may be more appropriate if you have knee osteoarthritis.
