Chronic post nasal drip is usually caused by chronic rhino-sinusitis. The treatment will depend on what causes the inflammation. Treat allergy if you have allergic rhino-sinusitis or treat the infection if you have chronic bacterial sinusitis, etc. You need to see an ENT doctor for a thorough nose exam and probably a sinus X-ray.
