Unlikely: The highest risk of group b strep infections is in newborns. In adults, group b strep can cause: bloodstream infections pneumonia (infection in the lungs) skin and soft-tissue infections bone and joint infections rarely in adults: meningitis (brain). It would not be a typical cause of sinus infection that leads to post nasal drip.
