The AgAb (combo) tests are conclusive after 45 days, which is the advice from CDC, the top national public health agency. Some doctors and clinics are simply not up to speed in understanding the performance and timing of the current HIV tests. Others are hyper-conservative and want to provide a large margin of error, but it is unnecessary.
