The sedation may be associated with side effects within the first 48 hours. The other possible cause is an infection such as Influenza or COVID-19. The procedure may cause irritation of the upper airway. Drink warm fluids, monitor temperature and breathing. Discuss symptoms and testing recommended with the Pulmonologist.
