A member asked:

I have a hard bump near my last molar on the roof of my mouth and uvula is higher on that side. what could it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I recommend that all lumps in the mouth be examined by a physician, ENT specialist or an oral surgeon. If it's bony hard& in the hard palate it could be torus palatinus, something you're born with. If it's adjacent to the molar it could be from an abcessed tooth or gum boil.
