Swollen bump: This sounds like either a tooth or gum abcess. Since it is getting bigger, you should see a dentist or an oral surgeon ASAP.

Bump: Could be literally a bump (trauma) as from hard bread crust, burn, bacterial infection of tooth, gums, sinus, blocked salivary glands, virus infection, and oh so many other possibilities. Bite the bullet. Go see your Dentist. That 's the only way a competent differential diagnosis can be done.
