Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD. Various situations, including the vaccine, can temporarily disrupt your cycle. It is also not clear if you had been on any contraceptive medicine. Perhaps you simply started bleeding early this cycle which is why it is prolonged and in which case it should be stopping soon. Get checked if you are still bleeding in another week.
