Yes, it's high if persistent, especially the upper (systolic) number. Check again in 2 wks, you need to rest 5 minutes before the test and the cuff has to be at the heart level. Wrist manometer is not recommended. If it's still high you should have it confirmed with a different manometer, preferably a manual one by your doctor. Low salt diet and exercise are indicated before medication.

Need 3 BPs on 3 visits to Dx. If aver above 120 then you have "unhealthy BP". Needs to be taken properly with an accurate device which is rarely done. I recommend getting an accurate (on you) home device and take it correctly at home for a couple of weeks but discuss with your Dr first. An unhealthy BP is one that increases you risk of stroke etc. Read about DASH diet to lower B4 meds.
