No, it is abnormal. You have had an infectious enterocolitis, not food poisoning. The latter usually resolves within 24-48 hours. If you are able to eat and drink normal, no fever, no significant colicky or tenesmus, no bloody or heavy mucus stool with improved diarrhea, you should be fine. If not, you may need to be treated with an antibiotic.
