A member asked:

If you were a 74year old male with would you go through open heart surgery if all you did is watch tv and sleep with not much of a life?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Actually, a great question for all of us to ponder. Not feasible, to "walk a mile in your moccasins", as none of us can decide for you. But even at age 74, if odds are in your favor (including co-morbidities), a proactive decision may be valuable. Get second opinion from skilled cardiovascular surgeon and then decide with family and/or friends.
