Lasix would not be a cause of swelling in the groin. More likely causes would be an inguinal hernia, a local varicosed vein or enlarged lymph glands. Lasix, a potent diuretic, can cause of low serum potassium, dehydration and can raise serum uric acid & blood sugar. . You don't mention why you are to take lasix.

Lasix is a diuretic which makes your kidneys produce more urine, not to make you void easier. This medication does not make swelling in your groin. Do you have significant swelling in your legs besides the groin swelling? Some people talk about the scrotum when they say groin area, do you mean that? Why were you prescribed Lasix?
