I have a rash the size of the palm of my hand.. its on the bottom left side of my stomach. it burns when i take a shower. what could it be?

It isn't possible to say very much, with no additional description. But painful with soap and/or water suggests it may have opens sores? Or blisters or pimple-like bumps? If so, herpes zoster (shingles) is a good bet. If there are such lesions, see a doctor ASAP: effective treatment is available, but only if started early, so don't delay. Good luck.
