A member asked:

I suffer from aerophegia. so when gurgling occurs and air is in correct transit, what could cause it to mainly be felt at hepatic flexure (and top of ascending prior) while moving towards the exit ? is it because of the gas pressure meeting a bend?

If your colon is truly distended by abdominal x-ray you could feel more in the right upper quadrant (hepatic flexure of the colon) because of the close proximity of that hepatic flexure and the liver capsule.
