Yes, a groin muscle strain can cause pain in the entire genital area. However, there are more serious testicular issues that cause pain. Please be seen by your doctor to be sure you don't have any of those more serious problems such as a torsion (twisting) or a hernia.

Yes. Once the strain is gone you should be OK. Good idea to wear a good supporting underwear all the time. and use local heat to groin. Hope you feel better.
