Ive had diabetes for over a year now and recently ive realized that my bgl has been a bit higher than usual despite not really changing anything diet-wise, ive been taking 20units of 70/30 once a day, do i now need to be taking it more often?

Your physician or diabetologist can best advise you about increasing the dose. It's helpful to know if your higher readings are before breakfast, before lunch,before supper or at bedtime or whether you have any insulin reactions. . Since you're taking a fixed combination of insulins, taking more of a dose or taking it more often becomes tricky.
