A member asked:

Is ibuprofen safe to use as an antipyretic for a person with coronavirus, whether an adult or a child?

Typically has been used for fevers in children and adults for years. Would unlikely to be safe or tolerated if one has active gastritis or peptic ulcer disease., But in low dose, would be useful during COVID-19, and tylenol or aspirin could be other choices.

It is used to control fever during the COVID-19 infection. It is important to take the temperature of the child prior to dosing. For persistent fever duration more than 2 days, please see your physician.
