Facial pain that is sharp, lancinating, intense and immobilizing, lasting a few seconds at most, and repeating several times daily might represent Trigeminal Neuralgia, but longer lasting events might suggest sinus, jaw, or dental issues. A neurologist, and perhaps a dentist also, could provide answers and interventions.
