Vaginal oder. i have seen 2 dr.s. no bactiria or stds. i've tried drinking more water and eating better but nothing. it's been almost a year. what do i do. it is gross and driving me crazy. vaginal suppositories work for 12-24 hours. help??

By far the most common cause of strong vaginal odor is bacterial vaginosis, an overgrowth of mostly normal vaginal bacteria. The main treatment is the antibiotic metronidazole by mouth. BV can be triggered by STIs if at risk (e.g. gonorrhea, chlamydia) and the STI trichomonas causes similar vaginal discharge and odor. See a doctor, such as your gyn, for diagnosis, testing and treatment. Good luck
