A member asked:

I had surgery on my humerus bone which is my right arm by the bicep, now my arm will not straighten out all the way. what exercises can i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Stretching exercises: After your orthopedic surgeon approves exercise, you should begin rom(range of motion) that aims at improving your extension to match the other arm, if possible. Contractures develop anytime there is prolonged immobilization, so gradual increasing stretching to the point of pain should help.
