Hi, As you get older, you do have slightly increased chances of getting high blood pressure and diabetes in pregnancy. Just as the chances increase for getting those things when you are not pregnant they do increase when you get pregnant. Most of them are easily handled and managed during her pregnancy. The chances that you will not get those things it is much higher than getting them.
