A member asked:

Why would an infant start vomiting after feeding on the mother's milk?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Infant vomiting: Causes include: a. Overfeeding - Breast milk production is based upon demand and if the breast is used as pacifier it can produce so much milk a baby will overfeed and vomit. b. GERD - if the baby is fussy and wanting to be fed a lot and vomits more, acid reflux can be the cause. c. Obstruction - yellow vomiting if present requires a doctor visit soon, as something is wrong. d. Normal
