Yes, isotretinoin may cause ED but the incidence is unknown and this is a delayed adverse effect. Most cases are temporary but some cases are long lasting. Testosterone level should be checked in the long lasting cases after isotretinoin has been discontinued. It is critically important that you keep a close eye on subtle changes in your sex drive and sexual function while taking this drug.

In 40 years of prescribing isotretinoin, I have never seen a single case of erectile dysfunction. There are rare reports in the literature of it happening, but I would be looking for another, more common cause. Your doctor should be able to help you sort this out.
