Your question can be better addressed if you can provide additional history about your spleen. Do you have an enlarged spleen or any disease affecting your spleen because spleen does not hurt unless it is enlarged??. If it is enlarged you must have a physician taking care of you who can safely provide you proper medication. In general, Tylenol is a safer medicine to take, as compared to Motrin.

Why do you think you have "spleen pain"? Has a doctor diagnosed splenomegaly? Might this be a kidney or intestinal issue or a problem at the left diaphragm? See your primary doctor and get this clarified. OTC analgesics to treat pain of unknown origin can eventuate in a deteriorating condition.
