A member asked:

Hello this is in advance! i had chlamydia gonorrhea and syphilis tests at 4 months after sex and hiv and hepatitis tests 6 months after all came back negative. are there chances of false negatives in any of these tests at those time frames?

False negatives are always a possibility, but after that length of time it's unlikely. If you are that worried about it, consider contacting your sexual partner and seeing if they have developed any symptoms or positive tests.

Except with very rare circumstances, your test results are conclusive at those time frames and if all test results are negative, you can be reassured.
