Hello. This sounds like an allergic response causing rhinitis. This nasal inflammation can lead to sinus symptoms such as facial pressure, drainage, and congestion. COVID now has been linked to nasal/sinus symptoms so a test for COVID would be recommended especially if you ha e been exposed. If symptoms progress to fever and worsening headaches, see your Primary Care Provider or your ENT.

The newer Omicron COVID-19 variant appears to frequently present, especially in unvaccinated folks, with nasal, sinus, and throat issues, mimicking allergy. It is wise to have a PCR test to address this issue. Definitely, contact your doctor.
