Diflucan is very effective for vaginal yeast infection (vaginal candidiasis). If symptom persists, the diagnosis is likely inaccurate so you need to have a gynecologic exam and tests. If vaginal candidiasis is again detected, you may be infected with the resistant candida and you need to be treated with a different antifungal drug.

Diflucan is usually effective for Yeast Infection.Since it has not stopped your vaginal itch. You need to get checked by a Gynecologist to diagnose the cause of itch.Besides yeast there are other causes of Vaginal itch.Like Bacterial infection,Chlamydia and Trichomonas.Trichomonas is sexually transmitted and both sexual partners need to be treated.Make an appointment with your Gynecologist asap
