Your risk of HIV from this scenario is extremely low since there was no bodily fluid exposure. But, if it would make you feel better, then go get tested. Is your tetanus vaccine up to date? If you haven’t had a tetanus vaccine in the last 5 years, I would suggest getting this updated with a Tdap vaccine, if you have never had one, or a regular tetanus vaccine if you already had a Tdap.
