Pregnancy symptoms like "breast tenderness" can occur with constant estrogen production from the ovaries, when ovulation is delayed. Light bleeding can be from sustained estrogen effect, with endometrial breakdown. See your GYN physician for an exam and ask about oral bcp's, which stop ovarian estrogen production and later effects of same on endometrial cells in the uterus.

Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.
