Hi i got exposed to covid 19 abut a week now. i got a nosal swab test done yesterday morning and the redults were negative. today i woke up with a headarche localized on the side of the nose where the test was done and also a congested nose. could my?

Your question is incomplete. Nasal swab should be done on both sides. If it was done on both sides and only one side is congested, it could be beginning of a common cold, trauma from swabbing or even Covid 19 as the incubation period is 2-14 days.

Another test may be helpful to rule out COVID-19. Congestion is a common symptom of respiratory viral infection. A COVID-19 PCR test is very accurate. If the second test is negative, treat symptoms. Remain quarantined until cleared. Monitor temperature and breathing. Watch for shortness of breath.
