A member asked:

Cant breathe running and feels like iron since ive dealt with this for years in past. is it possible for my body to get used to a high ferritin number (it was in the mid 200s all summer and i felt great running). now its 160 and i feel anemic?

Has this happened previously? If so, was iron deficiency anemia documented as the cause? If not, it seems very questionable this is what is limiting your running tolerance, especially if the problem shows up as shortness of breath. Don't try to treat this on your own. See a doctor. Good luck.
