I would be guided by the color of the predominant bulk of stool but stool on TP was the last to come out and may have less pigment. If the entire movement was very light tan color, then it would require an investigation for malabsorption caused by biliary tract or pancreatic pathology. A gastroenterologist would be the specialist to conduct the workup.
